Indian Testing Board (ITB) is a national board approved by the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB). Responsible for the "ISTQB-Certified-Tester" Certification in India, the ITB was founded in February 2004 and granted permission two months later. ITB has issued over 88, 000 certifications till December 2016. Officially founded in Edinburgh in November 2002, the International Testing Qualifications Board is responsible for the "ISTQB Certified Tester", an international qualification scheme. The qualifications of the scheme are based on a syllabus. An examination is conducted, covering the syllabus. The contents of every syllabus are taught by training providers, accredited by ITB.
